Welcome to Novel Escapes, LLC (“Novel Escapes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website novelescaperetreats.com and participation in any travel, retreat, or related services (“Services”) offered by us.

By booking a trip, submitting a form, or otherwise engaging with our Services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services Provided

Novel Escapes, LLC specializes in custom travel planning, group retreats, and family or individual travel experiences.
Our services may include (but are not limited to):

• Itinerary design and travel planning

• Booking of accommodations, transportation, and excursions

• Coordination with third-party travel providers

• On-site retreat management and event coordination

We act as an independent travel planning and coordination company and not as the direct provider of flights, accommodations, insurance, or transportation.

3. Booking and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. The specific deposit amount will be stated in your booking or retreat package details.

• Full payment is typically due by the date specified in your invoice or confirmation email.

• All payments must be made in U.S. dollars through approved methods (e.g., credit card, bank transfer, or secure online payment platforms).

• Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of deposits paid.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations by the traveler must be made in writing to info@novelescaperetreats.com.

• Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and the policies of third-party providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).

• Novel Escapes, LLC is not responsible for refunds denied by third-party providers.

• We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations, delays, or emergencies.

In rare cases where Novel Escapes must cancel a retreat or trip, clients will receive a full refund of all payments made to Novel Escapes, LLC — excluding non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

By booking with Novel Escapes, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete personal and travel information.

• Purchase individual travel protection or insurance. Options and quotes for travel protection may be offered by Novel Escapes LLC upon request.

• Possess valid travel documentation (passport, visas, etc.) required for your destination.

• Abide by the rules, regulations, and customs of your travel destinations.

• Act respectfully toward other travelers, hosts, and local communities. 

 

Failure to comply with these expectations may result in termination of participation without refund.

6. Travel Documentation and Insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary travel documents (passport, visas, vaccination records, etc.) are current and valid.
 

Novel Escapes strongly recommends that all travelers purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.

7. Third-Party Providers

Our services involve collaboration with third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, tour companies, and transportation services.
These providers are independent contractors and not agents, employees, or representatives of Novel Escapes, LLC.

We are not responsible for:

• Acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of third parties

• Personal injury, loss, or damage caused by third-party actions

• Changes or cancellations by suppliers due to weather, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances

8. Assumption of Risk

Travel inherently involves risk. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that Novel Escapes, LLC is not liable for:

• Illness, injury, or death

• Damage to or loss of property

• Travel delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our control

• Acts of nature, terrorism, or other force majeure events

 

Participants assume full responsibility for their decisions and actions during travel.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novel Escapes, LLC and its employees, agents, or contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use our website or services

• Errors or omissions in itineraries or documentation

• Events or issues caused by third-party providers

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific services in question.
